Charity Run

I participated in the 2010 Fallen Leaf Run on October 2nd . This was an opportunity to run and walk. In fact, this event was to raise money for SIDS (Sudden Infant (baby)Death Syndrome) research. The money that we paid for the run will be charity for the research, so to participate in this run was really meaningful.

While I was running a little and walking, I saw many men, women, old people, young people, children and babies in baby carriages. They ran and walked at their own pace. It was a positive event, so they gave us balloons and there was a happy ambiance. I think many people enjoyed the event.

In my opinion, in Japan we don't have these kinds of charities often. They sometimes are held, but it is really rare. It is a great opportunity to participate in the community around us, so I hope these kinds of events should be held in Japan.

I really enjoyed this opportunity. To tell the truth, after this race I had a little muscular pain, so I noticed that I need to do more exercise in my daily life.
