Run Run Run

On October 2nd, I participated in the Fallen Leaf Run. That day was Indian summer, so it was a very good condition for running.

The Fallen Leaf Run is a charity marathon for SIDS. I saw some people wearing the same T-shirt printed with a name or picture. I heard from my teacher that that child had SIDS. When I heard that story, I felt very sad because the children live only a few months or years. However, all of the children were smiling in the pictures and they were so cute, so I couldn’t believe they had the illness.

I ran, ran and ran. It took 32 minutes to run 5km. It was a good opportunity for me to feel refreshed and to do exercise. I reached the goal in first place among Mukogawa students. Yahoo:) During the marathon, many of my friends and teachers yelled for me. It was for me, thanks.

I didn’t know the word “SIDS” before I participated in the Fallen Leaf Run. This charity marathon gave me a good opportunity to think about SIDS. I hope many children can live as long as possible and survive SIDS.
