I visited Santa Fe. During this trip, we had much more free time than last semester. We could go shopping freely and have lunch or dinner by ourselves. I could really enjoy this trip. In addition, I found some cultural observations in this trip.
One of my cultural observations is that people's action in New Mexico is slower than in Washington state. I was very irritated by the waiter when I went to the restaurant in Old Town Albuquerque, because we had no time until the time which we had to assemble, but he didn't hurry. We asked the check to him after we ate. He said "yes", but his work was slow. In addition, he let the new costumers come in and sit at the table although we were waiting. I couldn't believe it, but he didn't care about it. I thought I should have asked the check to him early. I learned from this thing, I should understand their culture and custom. In a word, do as the Romans do when in Rome.
The Magnificent Grand Canyon
I went to the Grand Canyon.
Different colors of layer show the longevity.
Wind carries the smell of soil.
I almost feel like reaching The Grand Canyon.
People give a faint exclamation.
Tasting fresh air.
The Grand Canyon is exactly the great canyon.
