Eventful Student Life at MFWII am having a super great time and I participated in some interesting events since I came back to MFWI. There are so many events while we are here from September to December in Spokane and we can also go shopping, go to a theater, spend time with our host families and so on. I have already participated in some events.
First, my group was invited for dinner at my RA, Natalie's house on September 18. We met her family. She has 6 siblings. They are very friendly and they asked so many questions to us. One of her sisters showed us Irish dance. It was pretty good. They keep a lot of animals in the house and their backyard. They sometimes kill and eat their chickens. I felt there were many differences between American families and Japanese families while I was there. If some foreign country students came my house in Japan, my family would be afraid the students might be unhappy so probably my family couldn't contact friendly to them. However, my RA's family were very frank with us so I could talk easily and I was comfortable with them. I really want to meet her family again during the Extension Program.
Then, I am participating in soranbusi dance team at MFWI. We will go to the Fiesta in Spokane on September 24 so we are practicing soranbushi once or twice a week at JCC. We usually have a lot of homework and it is very hard but we certainly go to practice a dance. It is hard for me but I want to create good memories at MFWI. I hope we can do it!
We will able to join some marvelous events from now on. I am really looking forward to participating in the super great events a lot.
