On September 17, The Welcome Banquet was held at Commons.The banquet was a second time for Extension students and I could meet some teachers so I was very excited.
When I arrived at my seat, I saw name cards on the same table. Those were Jill and Jill's family and I was glad because I thought I can listen to Jill. At 5:00, the banquet started with Marie and Gliffith's great speeches. Then they welcomed the Extension students so I was glad. After that I had dinner and the dinner was very good because I love lasagna!! Dinner was buffet style so I got a big lasagna and then Jill asked me "Do you like lasagna?" and I said "Yes " but at that time, I was a little embarrassed because I thought Jill might think that Shiori is gluttonous.Yes, I'm gluttonous!!:)
After the Dinner, the introduction of teachers and RAs started. The teachers were familiar to me therefore I could heard their introduction well and I like Andrea's introduction because her introduction was like a song! On the other hand,there are many new RAs so I listened carefully. After introductions, JC students gave a speech. It was great and after that, they sang "Wish Upon a Star". Next, Education students gave a speech and song! I thought their song was very great because they were so cheerful and original! I enjoyed it very much. Finally,I listened to Mami's fantastic speech and Extension students sang "Mamma Mia!!" and although I don't know whether we succeeded or not, it was fun!
At the banquet,teachers talked to me and welcomed me and then I was so happy!!
